Strollers shall be handled like checked in baggage, the wheels shall be unmounted during transport and the stroller shall be packed in a plastic stroller bag to reduce the risk of any damage. Stroller bags can be bought at most airports.
When travelling with and infant you may bring one stroller or child seat without extra charge. No checked baggage is included in the infants ticket.
Ski equipment and snowboards shall be transported in a protective ski- or snowboard bag. The ski equipment shall be securely packed with only one pair of skis with ski poles per case/bag. When buying extra luggage in the form of ski equipment, a ski case and a boot bag are included in the price.
To bring ski equipment such as ski- or snowboard bags there is a charge of 400 SEK per leg and bag. One bag may not exceed the maximum weight of 20 kg.
Maximum one lifesaving backpack per person, containing a pyrotechnic trigger mechanism of max 200 mg net (division 1.4S) and a cylinder with compressed gas that is not flammable. The backpack must be packed so that it cannot be activated unintentionally. The airbags in the backpack must have discharge valves. You need a permit from the airline.
To bring one golfbag there is a charge of 500 SEK per leg and golfbag. Included in the golfbag is the bag, golf clubs and a pair of shoes.
One bag may not exceed the maximum weight of 20 kg.
Bicycles must be transported packed in a suitable protective bike bag (soft case or hard case). The size of these bike bags must not exceed the following dimensions:
The weight must not exceed 20 kg.
To ensure that we are able to transport your bicycle, you should remove the wheels and pedals, and turn the handlebars so that the bicycle fits within the dimensions stated above.
The cost is SEK 500 per one-way trip per bicycle.
E-bikes and electric scooters are classified as dangerous goods and are not permitted on flights with populAir.
Special baggage cannot be exchanged for standard checked baggage. This means that a fee will always apply when checking in special baggage. In the event of ticket cancellation, the fee for special baggage is non-refundable.
According to Swedish law it is prohibited to bring firearms into the cabin. Carriage of weapons must be requested and approved in advance by contacting Amapola Callcenter +46 (0) 770 - 790 700 or callcenter@amapola.nu. The cost for bringing weapon and ammunition is 450 SEK per leg and weapon, one (1 st) per case .
